Snowshoeing with Compass Outdoor Adventures

A few months ago South Fork and Compass Outdoor Adventures reached out to Caitlin and I about wanting to host a fundraiser for the Service Board at their annual Pray for Snow event! As you may know, Caitlin and I both volunteer with tSB, so we were stoked to bring our North Bend and tSB communities together to support an awesome cause. It was a great night and one of the raffle items was a guided snowshoe adventure with Compass Outdoor Adventures (and our guide Johnny Blair)! Our friends Jake and Caylene won, and were kind enough to bring us along!

We met up at South Fork where we grabbed coffees and some morning snacks and met up with Johnny. From there, we drove up to the Gold Creek Pond snow shoe trail in Snoqualmie Pass. If you don’t have your own snowshoes, Compass has gear that you can use, making the adventure all the more accessible!

We rounded the day out back at South Fork for drinks and lunch (I got the Curry Chicken Bowl - perfect to warm you up after a snowy adventure). Thank you Compass Outdoor Adventure and South Fork (and our friends Jake and Caylene) for supporting the Service Board!
