As many of you know, ColaLife is one of my favorite up-and-coming nonprofits — leveraging Coca-Cola’s distribution networks to get medicines out to areas where nonprofits have been unable to reach. You can read one of my previous posts about them here. Anyways, I was excited to see this video of David Berman, author of the book Do Good Design, discussing ColaLife!

Thanks, Marco, for highlighting an innovative idea for world change. The problems of the world are so big–but so is the ability of individuals to come up with creative ways to confront those problems. So much is needed: direct aid, for profit investment and philanthropy — invested at different times, and different ways, across different life times, before we can get out of the woods of poverty. And every new, creative idea for meeting the challenge brings us closer to that goal.
