IBM Expands Corporate Service Corps in Emerging Markets (via CSRwire) – This is an awesome program designed “to provide small businesses, educational institutions, and non profits with sophisticated pro bono business consulting and skills development to improve local conditions and foster job creation.” Also, here is a link to an external evaluation of the program.

Samasource: Planting Seeds for Fair Trade Outsourcing (via Triple Pundit) – Samasource is a cool non-profit that can be likened to the “fair-trade” version of oDesk (the popular freelancing website). They provide women and marginalized people with the IT training and then connect them with small businesses looking to outsource work. Check out their website.

Social Enterprises and the Water Market (via Beyond Profit) – Here’s a good list of social enterprises working in the water industry.
